Robert's experience with weapon systems has given him a greater understanding as an artist for the level of detail and accuracy required for military artwork.

Since the Australian Army, his career took a different direction as a Forensic Photographer for the Department of Transport / VIC Police, based out of Melbourne. Robert was part of a team investigating deaths on the Victorian railway lines, attending and photographing horrific scenes, caused by either accident of suicide.

Now he himself is medically retired, Robert has thrown his time into taking his art is a different level. He thoroughly enjoys teaching art to Veteran's and their spouses, knowing the relief art can be to those who suffer with the effects of PTSD.

Also spending his time creating private commissions, producing art for exhibitions and teaching art. He also finds value in producing art for fundraising for charities, especially relating to PTSD.
